ABOUT US
We are the European leader in a revolution in the catering industry. We help individuals and companies host great events by booking catering online. We operate two products:
- La Belle Assiette: a marketplace which lets Private Chefs sell their services online and clients book securely online
- GoCater: a marketplace which lets caterers sell their products online and Businesses book all their catering needs centrally
Since 2012, we offer Chefs and Caterers, on top of client bookings, all the tools they need so they can manage their business online (quotes, billing, planning, CRM...).
Our company was voted Best E-Commerce Innovation by the Fevad next to Amazon, Voyages-SNCF and Sarenza. We also won the Push Forward contest organised by l'Express Group and Next Generation Leader by TIME. Our sales are steadily increasing every month and new Chefs sign up every day. We have raised several million euros in funding from outstanding investors.
We are a small team (28 people), with an entrepreneurial, young, hard-working and extremely motivated culture.
We have offices in Paris (have a look!), in London, and in Berlin.

Freelance Photographers
We give access to all La Belle Assiette chefs and GoCater caterers to professional photography. Whether it's shooting during a validation dinner (we test all our La Belle Assiette chefs), or helping a chef improve their profile by taking shots of their dishes, we need you to help us out. We have a standard fee and lots of work.
Anywhere in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, UK and Germany.
FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Our needs
As you may have noticed (we hope!), a lot of the user experience on our site is based on beautiful photos. There are four kind of photos : dishes from our chefs or caterers, cooking, private chef dinners. In every market La Belle Assiette and GoCater are active in, we need talented photographers to help us build this library of tasty photos.
We are looking for good amateur/pro photographers who are self-employed. We will call upon you regularly to come shoot different events around where you live. It could be once a month, it could be once a week.
Most of the time, you will be heading to someone's home where a chef will be cooking or go to a caterers lab to take some pictures of ready-made packages. Sometimes, it'll be an organised shooting.
The offer
We pay a standard fee of 70€/£80 per shoot. We don't need you to work the photos post-shoot, just send us the entire clip and we'll select the best ones and edit them. You must agree that La Belle Assiette / GoCater own the full rights to the pictures you take for us during these shoots.
